Psychodrama

What is it?

The name sounds intense I know … Psychodrama is an experiential group method that brings your inner world to life so you can work with it directly, in real time. Because healing is not just about understanding, it’s about transformation. And transformation happens when we engage the body, the imagination and the heart.

It’s powerful and helps you step into your story and work with it directly, so you can shift old patterns, heal stuck emotions, and imagine new ways of being. It’s not about acting. It’s about becoming.

How does it work?

In a supportive group setting psychodrama becomes a shared, living experience. We step into each other’s stories, moments, and emotions with presence, empathy, and curiosity.
We “play” real-life situations from the lives of group members. These moments might be positive or painful, something you want to revisit, resolve, or simply understand more deeply.
You might go back in time to relive a powerful, transformative moment..Or finally stand up to a bully, say what was left unsaid, or make peace with someone who’s no longer here.

You might step into an imagined situation practicing how to speak up, set a boundary, or show up with more confidence. It’s a safe, supportive environment where you can explore new ways of being. Others in the group may take on roles in your story or you might support and witness theirs.

Ok, but why in a group?

As humans, we don’t live in isolation. Most of our joy and difficulties arise while interacting with others. So why should self-discovery and healing be something we do alone?

We often carry the wounds of disconnection, and unmet needs. Psychodrama in a group setting allows those wounds to be met not just with insight, but with connection and that’s where real integration happens. And because this is group work, there’s also something else: honest, compassionate feedback—the kind that’s often missing in our everyday lives.

What is it good for ?

If you’ve ever wished you could go back and say what you really needed to say…
Or rehearse how to show up differently in your life…
Or just get out of your head and feel what’s true… Then psychodrama might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
